4 EASY SMALL KITCHEN HACKS

A subject close to my heart and living situation is a small kitchen.
I love to cook and love kitchen gadgets and accessories. I could live in a tiny house because the only thing I need is a nice size kitchen in which most tiny houses offer. Most of the cities have expensive rentals with tiny kitchens or like in Miami you get outdated and small.I have found some ways to work around my small area and increase the amount of space. These items will save you counter space and revolutionize the decor and organization in your kitchen.

1. Magnetic Knife rack

This  adds a very sleek look and touch to the walls of your kitchen and lets you display your fancy knife collection or gadgets. You now will have extra counter space or drawer space. You can find all different styles in amazon. Below are some of my favorites.

Modern Innovations 16 Inch Stainless Steel Magnetic Knife Bar with Multi-Purpose Functionality as a Knife Holder, Knife Strip, Magnetic Tool Organizer, Art Supply Organizer & Home Organizer

Chosen Paths

Today I woke up with a special thought on my mind. I thought about the paths we choose in life. We have choices on a daily bases. We can choose to eat a slice of toast or eat a bowl of fruit. These choices all bring us to a destination. Our destination in this case will be one of health. We come across different choices on different things in our life everyday. When we stop and look back it is where we landed in life. Make sure you are aware everyday of this concept, so that you may live a life of deep satisfaction of the things you want for your life.

Some days the wrong choices will be more comfortable, more appealing, just easier. Choose to make the choice you want even if its hard and it may feel like its killing you inside that day. For nothing comes easy. The only certain thing is your destination of wealth, health, friendship and love. Keep a balance between all these so that you don't loose track of any in particular. Wanting things will not get you there. It is your effort and input that will get you there.
Make good choices! Have a blessed Saturday everyone. Much love to all.

Live in a luxurious home on a budget

Today I went to my local Goodwill and found some amazing pieces that have been on my list for quite a while. I tend to have an expensive eye for things and today I got really lucky with my finds.

                                      Williams-Sonoma Jardin Potager Bowls

I got these 4 bowls for 5 bucks. They are from William Sonoma and are made in Italy. Bowls were one of the things missing on my kitchen cabinet. I needed them for salads, pasta, table arrangements and sides for big dinners. These are perfect and I can't believe I got 4 for 5 dollars at Goodwill. These ran for about $120 each but are now discontinued.

Farmers Market Pfaltzgraff designed by Pat Farrell

Who doesn't need a  butter holder and a sugar bowl? You especially need one when they are this cute. I didn't even know of this brand until I got home and looked it up (I always do this :) ). I thought the design was beautiful and very farm house like.  These run for about $32 each and I bought them for 2.99 each!  They discontinued this brand but you can still find them on eBay and Etsy.

CB2 blue line dinnerware

(This is how it really looks with the perfect lighting)

These plates are so beautiful! It has a marble and ombre effect and my phone camera did no justice to them. They are perfect for summer gatherings. I paid 7 bucks for 11 pieces. I can't find the price because they have been discontinued but I am sure it was in the hundreds. I am obsessed with the color blue for the spring and summer. The color brings relaxation and lightness to the air at home.

                                                  Crate and Barrel Shelby throw

I forgot to take a picture of this one but I paid 3 dollars. This throw has amazing reviews and it's super comfortable, and soft to the touch. A throw was on my list and I just hadn't found one with the right texture or colors I wanted. It is brand new and I am so thankful for finding it.This is perfect and it's still available online. Sorry its $ 59.95, but it is worth it!

I wanted to finish this blog post just by saying that I am very thankful for finding all the things I had been looking for. Some days I walk into a thrift store and walk right out because there is nothing but junk. Don't be discouraged and keep on searching for your dream style. If you don't find it that day, you will find it in a different day. You can create a beautiful home on a very small budget. I don't just buy name brand things but I do look for high quality and the brand just comes with a perk if I want to resell these things one day on either eBay, etsy, Craigslist, or offer up.

I hope you guys have a great rest of the day. Blessings to all <3
